oh boy is this boring

Yea this is a snoozer
| |
Band is pretty bleh these days. They'll never top The Discovery.
| |
The first single was pretty killer but the gritty clean singing on this track is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
| |
I liked this a lot. These guys do a great job fusing electronic elements with a commercial metalcore sound.
| |
great, more stupid crap about virtual reality taking over our minds or something
| |
The Discovery was genuinely awesome and among the best deathcore releases, but everything since then......there's just nothing there to their music, and it feels completely lifeless. The concept is also entirely generic and overdone at this point.
| |
Really generic, boring song. First single was a pleasant surprise but this doesn't do anything for me.
| |
Digging the track. I'm liking how there's more focus on having two vocalists, as opposed to a main one and a backing one.
| |
So it looks like he's playing that lead in the chorus on guitar? Either way I'm not really a fan of the tone. Cleans kinda reminded me of In Flames but they play it really safe.
| |
I really like the chorus. As for the rest...eh.
| |
yeah definitely getting modern In Flames vibe from those vocals, not good.
| |
Apparently it's going to be a double album, interesting
| |
Their piano player is a beast. He often carries the guitars.
| |
Aye, he's been the VIP of the band on the last few albums
| |
Typical stuff from this band

Band has always been awful yeah.
| |
horrible
| |
Band has never been remotely good.
| |
as someone else noted above, The Discovery is truly a great album. I probably would never listen to it again but it's pretty monumental within the genre
| |
Boring Osiris
