RIP Her's

2019-03-29 by MrToothbrush | 19 Comments
UK indie band Her's, consisting of Stephen Fitzpatrick and Audun Laading, have tragically died in a car accident on March 27th 2019. Their tour manager Trevor Engelbrektson was also killed.

The duo were traveling to a show in Santa Ana, California, when the accident took place. They have been described as one of the latest up and coming UK bands and were due to play 19 sold out shows in the US after the release of their recent album Invitation To Her's. This would have been their second US tour.

The wrong band is linked, just sayin

but wow I literally just jammed their second album a few days ago. What are the odds? It was pretty good too. Huge RIP, this is insanely heartbreaking to know we've lost such a great up-and-coming musical group.

"It is believed that the Nissan pickup was going the wrong way, eastbound in the westbound lanes, the DPS said. There was no indication either vehicle braked before the crash, and both vehicles burst into flames upon impact."

It is terrible for their families but in a way it's a romantic way to go out isn't it? All of them together.

Also I haven't heard of this band but they must have been sort of popular in Indie circles in the U.S. if they had 19 sold out shows in America.

They were getting pretty big. They started out in Liverpool in the UK, but the drummer is from my home town. Really shite news

Yeah they were fairly popular on the indie chill circuit. My GF was the one who showed them to me and she's a huge fan of their work, but she primarily specializes in popular "chill music" like Lana and shit
