Nile unveil first new track

South Carolina technical death metal band Nile have released the first single from their upcoming album, Vile Nilotic Rites, due for release November 1st.

The track is titled "Long Shadows of Dread", and can be streamed here

Vile Nilotic Rites is the first Nile album with famous metal producer Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse, Ne Obliviscaris, ect), and also their first with new guitarist and vocalist Brian Kingsland, replacing longtime member Dallas Toler-Wade.

I honestly forgot about Those Whom the Gods Detest - that one ruled. But still, this is at that level, easily better than the last few IMO.

It's solid but I guess I never realized how much Dallas's vocals defined their sound to me. Now they just sound like any other tech death band.
