brutal, good work. pulls off having a chorus without it sounding like overpolished trash
| |
goddamn this is my favorite nj song since wrongdoers
| |
This is really good! Much more looking forward to the album now, though admittedly, I have really enjoyed the last three.
| |
Good lord that ending.
| |
Jumped into these guys late with Polar Similar. They are consistently crushing and interesting.
| |
Fun little ditty
| |
Killer track, the riffing is monstrous
| |
Holy fucking shit , SLAP ON TOP OF SLAPS!!!
| |
BANGER!
| |
Goes hard as shit. Stoked for the album now.
| |
slapper
| |
song rips. if this is a single, very excited for the album. all norma jean fans should check orphantwin. Cory's recent project. It very much rips.
| |
cory's a bit of a dink but an absolute beast of a vocalist
| |
sound is monolithically heavy while still being interesting. very tasty
| |
What a heater
| |
"all norma jean fans should check orphantwin." [2]
Yup. Been playing that a lot lately so the wait for the new NJ is so much more bearable.
| |
I love how raw this sounds. This song absolutely bangs.
| |
Okay now THIS i like, this is more like it
| |
good stuff
| |
The last minute or so of this track had absolutely no business going that hard.
| |
Honestly jfc that ending nearly blew out my speakers.
| |
Holy shit that kicked ass. Call for the Blood was a little meh but this one absolutely crushed
| |
Yeah I didn't care for Call of the Blood whatsoever and almost wrote the album off completely. But holy SHIT these guys totally won me over with this one.
| |
Call of the Blood took me a minute, but it grew on me. It's also the first track on the album I believe, and so I always assumed it was the intro song after one of those ambient/interlude intros.
| |
Final minute of the song is already a 2022 music highlight
| |
truly impressive how they’ve managed to stay at their top of their game for damn near 2 decades
| |
Final minute of the song is already a 2022 music highlight
[2]
Song was already slapping me around before that too
| |
SOTY potential in general, no joke.
| |
what a slapper
| |
I'd be more shocked if Norma didn't deliver at this point. Four album hot streak, let's go!
| |
stoked
| |
I remember seeing them sometime after Anti Mother and thinking man these dudes are so washed they should hang it up. Everybody just wanted them to play Memphis.
Boy I'm glad they are still going
| |
Bumped for the LP. Enjoyed everything they released so far
| |
This song got me back on the hype train for the album. Loved hearing some of that classic NJ brutality.
| |
I still stand by that polar similar is one of the best metalcore outtings in awhile. Song rips
| |
Whoa, that ending really is crushing, cool song
| |
so this is what it feels like to chew 5 gum
| |
This shit’s killer. Really looking forward to some new tunes!
| |
"Everybody just wanted them to play Memphis."
That still happens tbf
| |
Shoot, I didn't see this coming but whew, this is amazing.
| |
Holy fucking shit that ending
| |
Sick ass song.
| |
Haven't listened yet but happy to see people like onion and jay happy.
| |
That distortion at the end got me.
| |
Actually glad I clicked play here! Haven't checked their last handful of albums for no good reason tbh. Love their early material though. This shit slaps pretty good though
| |
Fantastic single, ready for that fourth masterpiece in a row. The most consistent metalcore band in the game.
| |
This is probably the heaviest song I've heard them do so far. Super excited for this new album, and I'm sure it'll be right up there with Polar Similar and All Hail
| |
These guys just keep refining their sound while keeping it fresh as the years go on.
| |
So when are we getting the Norma Booth / Johnny Jean split EP
| |
I want a Norma He / Jean Is Legend
| |
Jesus christ, this slaps so hard
| |
Awesome track. Better than the first, but I actually thought the first was rad as hell too.
| |
Gonna be honest guys I thought the new Parkway single was better
.
| |
u wat
| |
Song ends I’m aroused
| |
Call For Blood grew on me after a while but this is still the superior track
| |
Holy shit
| |
Never really listened to NJ, but song's jammin'.
| |
Ate a York Peppermint Pattie to this
| |
I listened to music to this
| |
This is going to be a great album if not a classic. I’ve been waiting on NJ for new stuff and these 2 songs blow my expectations away.
| |
What else do they blow
| |
Whales?
| |
This is like their new sound and their old songwriting style combined and fucked up their whole discography
| |
This is a Georgia sound. I know they are located in Arkansas now but this is Georgia-core if you don’t dig it go listen to asking Alexandria and paint your nails black. NJ is the only band holding the torch still 20 plus years in. This album is going to slap harder than some of your moms when they caught some of y’all stealing their mascara. If your offended by this I’m talking to you lol.
| |
lol
| |
Ah Arkansas home to our greatest presidential philanderer
| |
"This album is going to slap harder than some of your moms when they caught some of y’all stealing their mascara."
lmfao
| |
