I dig it
|
| |
Had no idea about this and now i'm super hyped.
|
| |
Cool track. Never been big on any of the bands the members are from aside from Thursday back in the day and I dig a few Covered tracks. Will check this when it drops though. If I've ever heard a My Chemical Romance song then I'm not aware of it and I guess I should probably change that based on how highly they're held by some

I think a big strength on this band, so far at least when you consider this single, is that it's definitely a perfect mix of every member's main bands. Travis Stever's leads bring me all the way back to 'Good Apollo: I'm Burning Star IV' in the best way.
Also, Anthony has his most hardcore screams since 'Translating The Name'. That speaks for itself.

this rules. hyped
|
| |
Pretty sick line up and it's so good to hear Anthony going back to Saosin era vocals.
|
| |
omg
|
| |
What a fucking lineup. Holy shit.
|
| |
wtf count me in
|
| |
Cool lineup. Song is 3/5 for me though. Nothing special
|
| |
I googled "Travis Stever" because, somehow as a C&C fan for 10+ years I've never looked into the members besides Josh Eppard and didn't really know how to visually ID them. Talented dude! I took a piss next to him once before a C&C show.
Green's name made me interested though. I missed his Saosin vocals. This is a solid 3/5.

Sounds like a slightly poppier Saosin. I dig it.
|
| |
Anthony Green carried this track, pretty meh
|
| |
Dig this a lot, was not expecting those screams
|
| |
I had no idea this band even existed. Line-up is good, song is good; I'm expecting more good things.
|
| |
Yo this is killer. What a lineup
|
| |
Song is crazy good
|
| |

This song is so damn good. Can't wait for more...
|

It was originally an older Anthony Green song
|
| |
Hyped for the album to drop. Both singles are awesome.

Anthony Green carried this track, pretty meh [2]

The live performance is a mixed bag vox wise, but what else is new with Anthony sometimes? He's the Cedric Bixler-Zavala of the modern alternative post-hardcore scene. When he's on, he's on. When he's not, well - it's still appreciated and, most importantly, very fun.
I will say his screaming live is shockingly brutal, seems like he's more into being aggressive with this band than he was on the Saosin shows he took part in with 'Along The Shadow'.
