RIP Hamish Kilgour

Hamish Kilgour, co-founder of influential Aotearoa/New Zealand band The Clean, has died aged 65. Kilgour had been reported missing by his family in late November, but was unfortunately found dead Monday evening of December 5th.

The Clean, part of legendary label Flying Nun, were an influential part of the Dunedin sound and continue to have a cult following in and outside of Aotearoa/New Zealand. Kilgour also formed The Mad Scene with Lisa Siegal after The Clean split in the 80s.
