 | tectactoe Yeah no idea what's up with that Incant album, I find the production strangely muddled and off-putting, none of the riffing felt particularly memorable for me, idk. Weird especially since it is bookended by two great albums (Golgotha and Conquest).

| Trifolium Yes, it is from the one after In Sides, The Middle Of Nowhere. It's very nice, their last super good one before their long quality dip (only the most recent one came somewhat close to that level).

| Trifolium Yeah it's nice isn't it!! I use a pretty strange Dutch website to check new records. It's a manual process, which appeals to me. No algorithm or any of that stuff for me please, I like to make my own decisions. More of a serendipitous process that way, haha.

| tectactoe Yeah I figured. I know the queue is full (as is mine, always) BUT if you have a measly six minutes to spare and just want a taste, czech the closing track at least, "Die teufelsbucher". It's not the most unique metal ever obviously but something about it rocks my socks, love the riffs/drums in the outro here. Just a great record.

| tectactoe Somewhere kinda in the middle. Occasionally dissonant, but not terribly often (or intensely), also occasionally riffs like Morbid Angel or Dead Congregation. Occasionally has as the overwhelming/ominous wall of atmosphere like Immolation. But still doesn?t sound derivative. I?m loving it right now.

 | gabba Demon, I highly recommend checking out Neubauten?s double live album ?9-15-2000, Brussels? if you haven?t done it yet. Sound quality?s pretty good, and the tracklist is awesome, with some deep(er) cuts. ?Yü-Gung? is also featured, as well as excellent versions of many other tracks. And Blixa?s monologues in-between songs are quite entertaining.

Spun it twice - it's quite good, and I really enjoy it while I'm listening to it, but for some reason it doesn't have the same "staying power" as something like Tomb Mold or DsO or Ulcerate...At least not yet. Will give it some time to settle and jam it a few more times to be sure. Definitely a really good album, just not sure I can call it "great" yet.
