5.0 classic | BrushedRed | March 1st 24 | EE does it yet again. I was afraid they had lost their momentum after releasing A Fever Dream and Re-animator, but they have released two of their best albums since with Raw Data Feel, and now this, which in my opinion, could rival Get to Heaven, easily. It needs more listens before I definitively make that call, but this exceeds any expectations I had set (and they were pretty high!). rThis album features some of the slickest and glitteriest production seen in pop music in some time, and it is carried by some of the best and most memorable hooks in their whole discography (?Wild Guess,? ?Your Money, My Summer,? ?Buddy, Come Over,? ?Daggers Edge,? ?City Song?). I could go on and on about this album. EE had the bar set so high with Get to Heaven, but this might just be their new bar to clear. Light to decent 11 out of 10

4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | March 6th 24 | The latest album from the long-standing progressive pop icons Everything Everything maintains their signature blend of diverse pop music styles. "Mountainhead" feels like the true successor to the groundbreaking 2015 album "Get to Heaven," featuring infectious song structures and a consistent vibe throughout. While the album occasionally feels lengthy and includes some cringeworthy alt-pop elements, its overall pacing and vibe are exceptionally well-crafted. If you're looking for danceable and sensational pop music to usher in the spring season, "Mountainhead" is definitely worth a spin.

4.5 superb | IdlyIdeological | March 2nd 24 | Lots of earworms on this enjoyable album, definitely a grower. They’re smashing it out the park these last two albums.
Now don’t go making me emotional. Emotional!

3.5 great | baseddook | March 1st 24 | Catchy, thoughtful pop. Unfortunately, the last few tracks lose the incredible momentum set by the rest of the record. End of the Contender, Cold Reactor, Buddy, Come Over, Mad Stone, Don't Ask Me to Beg, and Dagger's Edge are the standouts.

4.1 excellent | Erwann S. STAFF | March 1st 24 | Another winner from Everything Everything, whose formula of synthy'n'mathy indietronica and flexible vocals seems to never dwindle of great ideas. Not all of these ideas are home run though : this one suffers from a midway lull, as very often with them. A 40mins album would have been potential AOTY. Still, the glittering production work carries even the least engaging tunes, and propels the already-cool tracks towards pop magnificence.

4.5 superb | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | March 1st 24 | I'm just glad they can finally make the straightforward pop album they've always dreamt of making, no dicking around, and make it sound fresh and innovative as always.
