Grind with screamo and PV influence. One of my all time favorites and something I loved back in middle school and still do.

originally introduced to this band by my insane indian friend, the locust would come to be one of my favorite bands quick.
i remember a kid telling my buddy that they were a big slipknot fan. "really," he would respond, "i like the locust, they wear masks too... "
this album is brilliant. 23 tracks of really good song after really good song.

I couldn't stand this album at first, but it's much better when you listen to it on higher-quality speakers. It's an interesting and challenging album, and you've got to commend these guys for their innovation and some degree of technical musicianship.
