Humiliative isn’t from CC, it came out 2-3 years later

youre right wolfe its from None, which is just as pog honestly. But they played Humiliative at their "Alive" DVD show aswell so i guess its kind of a staple.

I'm not even that much of a Meshuggah fan but they absolutely killed it. My only slight disappointment is that they play Future Breed Machine quite a bit slower now and it doesn't quite hit the same.

Should’ve went to see them a few days ago. Didn’t feel like trekking it into greasy Toronto though

they should open every show with broken cog for the rest of their career tbh

also disagreed on fbm suffering from the slower tempo. it felt disorienting in the best way possible, especially as a closer to an hour+ set. i remember having to come on here the next day and make sure they actually did slow it down... cause in the moment i thought i was so exhausted from the pit i wasn't hearing in full speed or something lmao

Nah I disagree there's an adrenaline rush to that song that felt missing when slowed down like that.

Hard agreed on the Broken Cog intro though. What an incredible way to start a show

Future Breed Machine does unfortunately lose a bit of steam at the slower tempo, its definitely made to be a fast crunchy song. The solos during that song on this tour tho... my god, the SOLOS. Fredrik absolutely killing it. And yeah the tour as a whole looked sick, they've just kept upping their game over the years

might up mine to a 3.5 but also bump down violent sleep to a 3. Outside of Clockworks and a few moments across the album (not even full songs, just parts) the album is pretty unexciting. Heavy, crushing, but not one of their more special albums
