Okay, Balls:
The album is just "Scenes from Hell", now. It'll have 8 tracks. As of May 19th, all of the strings and brass and what-have-you are done being recorded. For the first time, Sigh is using real orchestration. Mirai wrote all of the orchestration, in full sheet music. Instruments include: trumpet (done by Pál Zoltán of Sear Bliss), trombone, flute, oboe, clarinet and bass clarinet, tuba and a string full quartet (the score for which exceeds 100 pages). And for you perverts out there: Mika drinks cow blood before she records and she records topless:

That is an excellent update, on paper this does sound like the best metal release of 2009. Unless Ulver comes out of nowehere.

Both are former bm bands who have treaded into avant-garde metal territory and put out albums with a similar theatrical (and peculiarly twisted) feeling to them. Because of this and probably because TMI is one of my all-time favorites it’s just the first thing that popped into my mind..
