Great review, but the album comes up alittle short. I really dont like the screamer and the songs are pretty boring. Nothing that stands out in this album.

I think that this sounds more like Glasseater on their S/T rather than Set Your Goals but, they are definitely similar. And, as everyone else has already said, catchy as hell.

You say that it's too short, but the reissue is way too long. 16 songs for the casual listener, with most of the track listing made up of repetitive filler, is too much. Maybe for the hardcore fan, it'd be a good idea, but I'm not feeling it.

Hearing the words "pop punk" and "death growls" in one sentence makes me chuckle, but somehow A Day to Remember makes the "pop punk with death growls" thing work. And work well, at that.

Am I the only one who hates this band with a passion? It's like metalcore mixed with pop-punk. Does no-one see the atrocity in that? I wasted 10 of my hard-earned pounds on this stupid CD and I couldn't even get through one track without being pissed off at those stupid breakdowns. Are they supposed to be heavy, or cool or something? Cause they just end up sounding retarded, like Atreyu crossed with All Time Low in a way. Eugh. If you want a good pop-punk band, listen to someone like Anberlin. If you want a good melodic hardcore band, listen to Rise Against or Daggermouth. If you want a good metalcore band...well, I have no idea where to find one.

this is so fucking fun.
Exactly and that's the whole point of listening to this. It's not supposed to be heavy or cool or be "good pop-punk" or "good melodic hardcore" or metalcore... it's just supposed to be fun.

This is honestly just such a fun album. If you're looking for anything more than that you'll be disappointed.

Album (/band?) would be better if the breakdowns weren't so boring.
