These guys would be infinitely superior with a better vocalist. He really holds them back

He sounds pretty good when he's being more aggressive and those screams in Angela's Secret are sweet but otherwise he is just always using this obnoxious mid to high ranged tone that is so fucking grating to listen to and he never attempts to do anything different.

I really dig the instrumentation though, so that alone deserves a 4 and Angela's Secret is my jam

different ears bro, lots of people including me think the vocals fit the sound of this band very well.

and even though it's of a similar style his vocals are also great on that kill sadie record.

He sounds like he wants to be in the Beastie Boys or something to my ears. I think a vocal style similar to the Blood Brothers would be sweet, given the similarities between the two bands

blood brothers are much more angular and dancey, tho. these guys employ more force, a "wall of sound" in which the ferocious vocals fit well.
