Not a bad song, but when I wanna hear that kind of ballad I rather listen to Chris deBurgh tbh. Here's couple of my fav (known by me of course) post-Fish tracks;
Easter
The Space
Splintering Heart
Neverland
Ocean Cloud

Possibly, but I think it was not particularly friendly between Rothery and Fish (cold as ice yes) before he left, if I believe to what I've seen on my DVD ''Marillion Live at Loreley'', their last touring. Where did you see them?

Fish! Gabriel too on that matter. Ian Anderson is also a voice I can imit quite well. I have my son's approval.

Cool!
Fish has a very unique tune...very difficult to clone.
His biggest reference is Peter Gabriel I believe

Exactly. Tbh, it was very demanding for me to reproduce Fish' vocals. At that time, I had no technique at all for the vox. Now I have the technique, but I'm not sure if I still can hit his fucking notes hah.
Also I wish I could play Concert Flute. I surely would do a tribute to Jethro Tull (I have my little brother who plays drums as well, so...

I wish I could play flute like Ian Anderson.

I know some stuff from Jethro Tull but not enough to have a solid opinion about his work....
His best is Aqualung, right?

Hell yes, I'd be an happier man. I'd be like;
Jethro plays Jethro's hahaha
I'd keep on jamming for the rest of my days

Aqualung is where they started their prog affair. TAAB is my perso fav. Both are essentials. Jethro Tull is essential, that is.
|

@Notrap: Yeah I'd say Aqualung and Thick as a Brick are Tull's best. They're one of my favourite prog bands maybe even my all time favourite so I highly recommend checking them out.

Yeah JT I believe you already rec me those some time ago.
I definitely must check those out, probably next month....The last weeks I'm jamming really heavy stuff like Death or Behemoth...Guess I'm on a extreme music cycle.
