i dont even know what's uncomfortable about the artwork and thus really have no idea what jacob's soundoff even means and just thought it was another example of jacob writing intentionally bad soundoffs as he is wont to do

as for irving's review i like it even if i think there are way way better comparison points than
grimes, tuneyards, who i feel are tangentially related at best. grimes lyrically, maybe, but even then
her approach to these subjects is so different. in actual fact she touches on very different subjects,
and with a very different style of musical assault
this music is more akin to a plethora of experimental acts working with morose shades. swans, for one
(this review was way better than mine for the album anyways)

i am really sorry for coming across aggressive to two people i love in this thread but i just think we
should have better reactions than to use our thoughtlessness as a defence, or to shrug at things
because they're so ingrained (coverage of this music on sputnik)
i know being upset on sputnik is met with "u butthurt bro" or more hostility (and i guess hostility
deserves hostility) but that soundoff of jacob's has grappled with me since i read it
also this review is great and well researched so even if i don't agree with some comparison points i
should def mention that
