i actually enjoy the vocals for the most part. i can understand why some point would find them irritating, my only gripe is at times it feels a bit too much like he's putting them on but overall the creativity of this album is outstanding.

yea, this is actually a pretty great slab of gospel-inflected post-punk... Faves are perhaps "Old Girl" "Irony, Utility, Pretext" and perhaps "Games" (although that could change upon further listening)
