Amazing review my man! I agree with your points, and your writing is a pleasure to read. This release, completely out of nowhere in typical Deathspell fashion, is fantastic and ranks among the best in their discog.
For anyone streaming, I encourage you to stick to the YouTube stream over the 128 rip on Bandcamp. It's much better.

I just played them back to back same parts throughout, and the YouTube stream sounds much better.
EDIT: okay this gets more weird, the news article that was posted sounds better than if you open up the same link in Youtube. I don't know.
