This band is bad, even on a live setting. It's outstanding how much they suck overall. Even their band name is shitty.

Nah, they were great until 2008, then Courtney forgot to stop partying.

"Their previous album ended up as a baked version of their usual selves, rarely taking off"
Should that be 'half-baked'?

I bet this sucks

never heard these guys before...listening rn and it seems pretty cool, really like the synth in Terraform
edit: yeah this loses steam hard after a while, but I still enjoy the overall quirkiness and catchiness of this...glad it got reviewed or I never would have found out about them

"Should that be 'half-baked'?"
I was thinking of baked as in high on weed baked, but half-baked works just as well lol. I probably should've put that word in between apostrophes.
@Sowing - Wasn't expecting you to not be aware of these guys. Listen to Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia (garage rock/psychedelic rock), Welcome to the Monkey House (new wave/synth pop/rock) and Come Down ('60s psychedelic revival/acid rock). Those are their best works.

How on Earth have you managed to avoid these guys Sowing? Bohemian Like You was pretty inescapable for a while.

No idea. But considering that I found this semi-enjoyable despite it being billed as basically a throwaway album, I'm gonna make it a point to follow up on highly rated albums from their past.

They were really catchy and fun until lately.

The Dandy Warhols are "bohemian like you" and should ride the crest of that track for as long as possible. Decent band then, terrible now..
