I also agree, first four tracks are some of the strongest here

Title track is the best song by far, anyone who says it’s among the weakest here has not just a stick but an entire tree up their ass. Probably the catchiest track this band has ever written. The News is really cringe tho and Cest Comme Ca gets annoying pretty fast

I *wish* the title track wasn't catchy ugh. It and the News are equally terrible

Yes.
36 minutes is the perfect length for this record too

I don't think most of this is as *catchy* as a lot of other reviews make it out to be, but it can be enjoyable. Crave has a very pretty melody and I haven't been able to get it out of my head.
The album's lyrics are what keep this from being anything other than a pleasant listen, though.

Just peeped "This Is Why" and that label seems very accurate to me. ( Bloc Party, Artic monkeys, pseudo beefheart /Gang of Four pop stuff etc etc)

I'm finding this record to be extremely addictive. The more I listen, the more I enjoy it. Liar and You First are two of the best songs I think they've ever done

Great review as always, Sowing. I'm glad I'm not crazy, I think this is easily the worst album in their discog and it's not even close.

The News has bad lyrics, bad delivery, bad production, and tries too hard to sound upset about the political climate or whatever. At least title track succeeds at what it’s trying to do. One hell of an ear worm, that one

I wonder how many peoples rating of this album is based on one listen?
