They had to change the name to the way it was due to some other band called Paris or something similar iirc

The album cover reminds me of “Matando Gueros” by Brujeria.

Nahhh I enjoyed reading this but album’s better than that. Was actually pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed. I feel like their shit will always be unfavourably compared to their earlier material but even though it’s less expansive it’s still pretty entertaining in a more streamlined way
Much more engaging than Use Me at any rate

Agree with Pump, better than Use Me but still lacking in a certain way. Still a very fun short rev! :D

Great write-up! The tone is perfect and accurately reflects the album's energy (lack thereof). After listening to the album, I reached the conclusion that Evergreen is the equivalent of AI generated art. If a training model was input previous PVRIS albums and the top pop hits, and instructed to create an album, Evergreen would be the result. It's so polished that its void of any quality that would warrant revisiting its contents.

I was a big fan of Use Me but this one is just boring as fuck, I'm sorry. Lyndsey's voice is so heavily processed that it's hard to tell it's even her.

Yes! I love White Noise but All We Know is definitely their best album
I was so sad when they didn't build up onto that sound

Anyone else find the cover art incredibly off-putting?

Brian is officially just a touring member now. This really is just an ego trip for Lynn. Album isn’t horrible, and it’s a big step up from their last one, but it’s just kind of… boring

Can you imagine how shit that must feel? Start a band with your friends have two well recieved albums thwn be sidelines to a touring member of this "band"

Gotta love too that Lynn retroactively took credit for being the creative force behind all of Pvris' music, only for Pvris' music to immediately nosedive after making that claim.
Kinda makes me think that Brian (and dare I say Alex...) had a much larger creative input on their first two albums than she's willing to admit.
