Definitely! Everything I checked on the BC was fire, especially the two recordings I mentioned on the last para of the review.

I was looking for this band on RYM and found another band from Japan called Sleep Walker. They make Post-Bop. You should check them out Dewinged. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJoVwGRitxM

Shit is smooth and sophisticated, not what I was expecting but went down rather nicely

Same, I was expecting a dissonant storm of riffs, but it surprised me, the drumming especially, very smooth.

Still can't figure out what to rate this. Have listened to it maybe five or six times now. Part of me loves it, but the other part of me isn't in love with it. At times it's so goddamn awesome but it's also keeping me at arm's length for whatever reason. Could wind up anywhere from 3.0 to 4.0 but I need it to keep marinating. Can always count on Dewi for interesting rec's.

Haha it takes a while to sink in, it's really its own thing. This one is not my rec though, credit goes to Deez, I had no idea about this band until a week ago!

Dewi I think you'll find that the typical Sputnik neckbeards already down voted

the album. It's actually a sign that it's a cool,

fun album if the old farts dislike it.
