spinning this after Origins reveals what seems to be a notable gap in inspiration. this effloresces with ideas, melodies, and attention to detail. the new stuff sounds like they were scrambling to find enough material for a 40-minute album (since the previous one was 38).

I've loved this album for years but for the first time in my life I've found myself overseas, currently in northern Wales nestled between the hills and mountains in a countryside cottage, and this album has never made more sense. Absolutely gorgeous with the set and setting.

Andy literally called me out for crying at a show. It was Fire in the Mountains and they were playing open air at sunset in front of the Rockies and during Aura I just lost it and between songs he was like "Man, this is supposed to make people happy..." and I was like *sobs into spiked leather gauntlets*

I just looked into just what Fire In the Mountains was and holy FUCK it is such a beautiful concept and it saddens me that it's too far for me to feasibly make it to lmao
Maybe sometime next year if it's still going ig
