I would give up my left nut, as well, but unfortunately I've already given it up to be able to play like Tosin. And it didn't even work, I don't think

I think I am the only one who is wondering why this guy hides behind overproduction yet he is supposed to be such a great guitarist. Don't really dig this.

He is extremely talented, but he's an awful song-writer imo

Maybe awful is too harsh but you get the point

Exactly the impression I got from this. A very good guitar player completely unable to write music.

It's just all over the place. Like some parts are nasty and some parts are horrible. Also, listening to it fully is a grind for me

hmm interesting I remember first hearing this and being floored, was able to listen to it constantly for long periods of time, it just sounded fresh

I mean to each his own definitely if you enjoy it that's awesome. I've just seen them live 3 times and man.... they bore the hell out of me. Also the word spastic comes to mind.

I can think of so many bands that are more "spastic" than these guys, I mean they're all over the place at times but there is a little structure to each song.

Well sure, they aren't the embodiment of spastic. Also the chugs are retarded in most cases. I don't know I can't completely explain it but some stuff is great and some not so great. For every song I really like there was some I really didn't. The good ones outweigh the bad though hence my rating.

I must admit, I've seen them live as well and thought they were rather boring. Then again they were
supporting Meshuggah so they were never going to impress in comparison.

well when you're a 3 piece instrumental band with no lead singer to draw in the crowd and you're main attraction is a virtuoso guitarist who has to focus on what he's doing rather than move and headbang it's sort of expected they'd have lousy stage presence

the sound is perfect live though

Also, if they decide to audition vocalists to become a 4 piece I would totally audition.
