I've never heard this album, but I have heard The End of Heartache. After listening to that, I don't really want to hear much more from this band. They're pretty generic, if you ask me.
I loved Alive or Just Breathing and never really saw it as a generic metalcore album... its way too vicious and fast and a lot of songs don't use that scream for the verses sing for the choruses approach. Plus Jesse's clean singing is a lot more varied then alot of metalcore bands... my main complaint with the new vocalist is that all his singing parts sound almost identical. Basically even if you don't like the last two albums (like me) then you still may be surprised by this one.This Message Edited On 07.17.07

nah the new singer is awesome, great voice and good lyrics (not as powerful as Jesse's though). It's not his fault, that the newer albums arent as good as the older ones since it's been the same guy writing pretty much all their songs from the beginning.
and kse is most certainly NOT generic... they are one of the pioneers of the whole singing and screaming mix and the first who actually made it sound good imo, which is the result of their success and popularity. I love All That Remains but i would say that THEY are generic metalcore, pretty much a rip-off of kse in all ways just like so many other metalcore bands today.This Message Edited On 07.18.07

mhm... dunno about that man, i can say, "the fall of ideals" is a tiny bit better than KsE's newest and s/t albums and i know the fall of ideals is an amazing album. But it doesn't beat AojB or TeoH... not for me atleast. The songs on those 2 are from the start to the end all anthems, breakthrough songs.This Message Edited On 07.19.07
