Well I’ve given it a 4 so clearly that’s my opinion too. It’s a low 4 but this definitely does the trick when I’m in the mood. TAOM is their only essential release.

id agree with calm tbh. this is mad underrated a probs the best abrasive-sceney hardcore of the 2000s. mad riffs, mad vocals, weird samples etc. i dunno just the strange tone it has done a lot for me

I think it's about as enjoyable as it possibly could be for the style, that's the biggest compliment I can give it. I often find 'core stuff' without progressive leanings tiresome.

Jester and I were talking about this, album also has some serious Botch-like riffs all over and they're sick, and we all know those types of riffs are the best riffs

It’s different imo. Norma Jean went with a more groovy and rhythmic style as opposed to Botch’s off the wall delay-ridden hammer ons. Art Damage emulates that a bit better but I love Norm Jean and Fear Before regardless of the amount of Botch worship
