Just saw 'em live again tonight. Ian sounded fine, but his neck looked like it was gonna explode when he sang.
Also their laptop stopped working near the end of their set and they delayed a little before saying fuckit and played the song. What is it with bands using laptops nowadays?

With a band like this, it's probably for backing tracks, samples, or most likely a click track

Too bad Ian fucked up his vocals, because I honestly liked his vocals on this. He's no Garrison, but he was 10 times better than JT will ever be

"How humbling it is to abandon pessimism and revitalize our ambitions with the solace of companionship.
Our hope resurfaced, our faith renewed.
Emerging from our cave and into the sunlight, we are reborn from the earth's womb.
Welcome to the light."

Yea this was the only thing he did, he was a decent replacement for Garrison. Garrison can't be matched tho, dude was too good

My favorite harsh vocalist easily, as well as my favorite lyricist

I don't think I know a single progressive metalcore lyric.
I listen to this shit for the A T M O S P H E R E
Wait nvm I know "WAKE UP FROM THE NIGHTMARE, BECOME THE MEME" from the Northlane album but that's it.

Well here's some my favorite that Garrison wrote:
"In the reflection of the water's stream, I watch the current carry me.
Irresolute and indiscriminate, this liquid flux is transcendent.
A birth to conquered memories of sentimental quintessence.
Learning to let go of oneself converts grievance into lessons."
Shit's beautiful

Just gave this my first listen. Dude's vocals don't fit the band at all but otherwise this is pretty standard Erra stuff, which is always good.

This band's EPs always slay. I usually prefer them to the albums tbh.
