Aside from Extremist, True Defiance and Summer of Darkness are their best imo. This band has always been very inconsistent with their output. It just sucks because I felt this band was finally hitting it's stride.

This doesn't sound that bad, but as all of their records it's patchy. You could trim all their discography and make 2 or 3 awesome records out of it. Unfortunately this band is rarely ever great (with the exception of Triptych and Extremist), but never really bad either. DH is the definition of mediocre, slightly passable at best.

Demon Hunter has always been one of those bands I can't seem to tire of, like I can not listen to them for months then come back and love every second. And i'm sad this one is their second lowest rated on Sput

lol I loved this band back in the day. It was one of the first "screamy" bands I listened to and appreciated. Triptych still holds up in my eyes, and Extremist is the only other album that stands out. The rest of their discog is frustrating just because they all have some great songs with lots of filler (haven't listened to True Defiance, though).
Considering it's cool to hate on DH around here, the ratings seem quite generous tbh
