i used to read lord gold (erik)'s blog and one of the last entries i remember was not that long after this dropped where he was talking about how incredibly disappointing sales were for this, like really bad, and that they had barely broke even from their diy world tour too



my first reaction was like how can you expect to be so militantly esoteric and still make bank but on reflection it must have been really crushing to be playing the best stuff of your career, even going lengths to convince one of your idols in that woman who plays the piano on rape escape to appear, and have no one particularly care
