Yeah, Very 'Eavy... Very 'Umble and Look At Yourself come close, but D&W is superior for me.

Much prefer their debut to this. Look at Yourself is prob better too.

What's up, Jamie? I personally love D&W more than those two albums, even if they're amazing too. To me, D&W is the album that has Box, Byron and Hensley at their best and it also has a lot of my favorite Uriah Heep songs.

Not much dude. I think I prefer their debut cos it rocks harder whereas this is more proggy and fantasy-themed and I feel UH are better when they're just rocking out. This album's actually pretty consistent but none of the songs come close to the likes of Gypsy for me.

Also July Mourning from Look at Yourself beats anything on here as well and is the best of their "proggier" songs if you ask me.

Yeah, I agree that the debut rocks harder than this album but I personally prefer D&W for combining better their prog-rock sound with their faster and heavier tunes. Gypsy is definitely Top 10 UH for me, but to me Circle Of Hands and Paradise/The Spell are better, also The Wizard and Easy Livin' come close. As for July Morning, I agree that it's their best prog song.

Not even close to Byron, but Bernie Shaw is a great vocalist

Obviously I have never seen Byron live, since I wasn't even born yet when he was still in the band, but as far as being an amazing frontman, Bernie Shaw has it. So much energy.

But in life itself in so many forms

To leave you cold

Band is overlooked. David Byron, Mick Box and of course the beast Ken Hensley are overlooked.
