I agree with you. I can't stand the singer's voice.

I hate his screams, 100% cringe-worthy imo. I looked past them on "Five Is A Four Letter Word" and a bit on "Kobrakai" too (although imo they ruin the track quie a bit), but the rest of the album, the vocalists cringe-worthy screaming and horrible high-note singing are untolerable.

A very good debut album for a very good band, Lostprophets albums very successfully contrast in their sound while still keeping the same root feeling(even in Liberation Transmission).

The quickly & cheaply recorded debut LP from Lostprophets is a scattershot affair that is occasionally fun, but does not come together as a cohesive whole. This is predominantly due to the experimentation & genre-mixing taking place, with the best (& occasionally distracting) comparison being Faith No More. The tracks that work best are those that take advantage of Lee Gaze's impressive guitar range & it is a testament to the band's potential that they pull some cuts off. However, with so much filler, this is more a curiosity piece for fans of the group's later work. Recommended Tracks: And She Told Me To Leave, Ode To Summer & The Fake Sound of Progress.

some genuinely good stuff on here. probably better than start something, that's more varied but more inconsistent.
