Gonna be honest. Impera is their best album so far imho.
It's shorter but more concise and those ballads are just beautiful.
Little Sunshine and Hunters Moon are amazing tracks sure, but then you add straight bangers like Kaisarion, Spillways, and Griftwood and those raise the record to a whole new level. Now if only Twenties didn't exist the album would be a straight 5. That song is hot garbage.

Listened to it once on the way to the defeated sanity show (m/) and loved it. The hate makes no sense because it’s totally ghost. Idk if it’ll be my favorite or not too early but it’s definitely about as good as any other

'darkness at...' and 'respite...' are fantastic songs, top tier ghost
twenties is trash
the rest fell into place for me - it's a good record. i do feel when tobias goes outside his vocal range it sounds a bit awkward and it's a little distracting.

It's a bit janky in places like it's forced (Twenties etc) but it's overall okay. It's hard not to go back to Prequelle and Meliora and just enjoy yourself. That said Little Sunshine is getting undersold hard. Track's a legit bop.
