this is so different from anything i've ever heard. it's on its own level of 'experimental.' it's even weirder than more immediate avant-garde bands (Mr. Bungle, etc.) in how carefully and fearlessly it spirals down into its strange, strange worlds. it literally sounds like it was made on the other side of the galaxy by people, or things, with a different understanding of sound. and it was recorded in 1971. what the actual fuck.
