less muddy, different parts stand out better in the mix, especially during the heavy parts

I jam on bose headphones so everything sounds good on them honestly, but this album certainly sounds stunning on them in particular as well as my car studio.

From listening to the remaster of Backlit on YT, sounds only slightly different, but in a good way. The track has more room to breathe.

I own the physical version of it and I can say that it sounds a bit better. The sound is more clear and like

you said, breathe more.

This is one of those albums I just can't stop jamming.

That awesome atmospheric riff in the first half of In Fiction sounds like it should be in a movie or something.

Yeah me too, but they said they did all the want and I respect them for that. Like, if they made a new album and it was underwhelming because they had no good ideas, then it would only disappoint really.

Well, good for them then. I'm glad they were happy with their work. I actually think their most recent album has some of their best work too.

I respect them for their decision. not that it's bad to keep trying to make music and fail, but it's a good way to go out when you're satisfied that you've poured enough of yourself genuinely into the things you've done and move forward from there. no regrets
