In my Top5 of last year.
They did really rave it down in the most prolific experimental way with all those flutes, like what they do with "Full Of Fire" and the vocals, such was never there before and is utterly original. On the other hand there are melodic, chordwise masterpieces like "Wrap Your Arms Around Me".
At first listen i remember being underwhelmed, them just wanted it to make it in their very own way but as time came by i suddenly realized why i love them so much, that they proved to be different then on earlier records but at the same time reached for the same heights just differently.

yeah, it can be very uninviting and inaccessible. very weird at times. fracking fluid injection, for instance.
not saying its a bad album, its just been a slow process for me. i'll listen and then not want to hear it again for a while
