The new song is pretty good but I wish they had more of the heavier bits they introduce the track with

album goes by the interlude - 3 tracks - interlude formula so i guess that's how i'll update my thoughts on it

first set of 3 was real good. Caustic Prayer was catchy/just a great post-hardcore jam and Empty Gardens was really cool. nice mallet parts

so far this feels like their easiest album to digest. very tight and they bring some nice instrumentation to the table.

but idk, they still be missing something. that easier to digest quality comes with a lack of adventurousness too and I think the back half of this album had that.

still very hyped for the closer doe.

closer was def great but i fucking hate extended outros that have no giant conclusion so much ughhhhh

but first 3 mins or so were legit so that's cool

good album, not as good as this, if ya like dgd but wish dgd made real music then you'll like it

only first heard these guys yesterday and everything ive heard rules but the new one is definitely easier to digest than the others. we'll see what that means as far as longevity tho but all 3 records ive heard slap regardless

New album is good but it lacks originality. 3.5 for me. I actually enjoyed the closer quite a bit.

closer was ready to be the best song until the ending just kinda petered out. still loved the first half. I think the Mess song wins

man still only on my 2nd jam but some of the songs on this have blown me away. querents and transcendentium pt 1 particularly are incredible but this one is gonna be a blast to dig into

Just posted a review for The Architect after 3 full listenthroughs. I think TSTL is better, and like Garth said, The Architect is way too stagnant.

Pretty album, but yeah it misses some grit and craziness like in Mutual Fear

I prefer degeneraterra generally for casual listening, but this is better as a full listening experience. Sometimes the vocals weird me out, though, weirdly digital I guess? Querent and Loti are fuckin excellent.
