Ye agreed apology was fair play and came across genuine and well intended to me, but his reasoning kinda suggests he spent about 2 minutes editing/quality controlling/reflecting on this album before releasing. If it only takes to like 2 days post realise to realise you fucked up, then you really fucked up in not realising sooner.

7 Minute Drill is the one people are talking about most but man Pi has that whack ass line that’s clearly targeted at the Auntie Diaries track.

Like, Morale was def not Kendrick’s best record but the best way I can describe it is Kendrick really maturing, even if I don’t like it as much as TPAB or GKMC. Like writing songs like Auntie Diaries or Mother I Sober shows real growth not just as a artist but as a man.

Now, im not even gonna pretend to know all that much about J Cole. I listened to this in the background and literally have only ever heard him when one of my friends has the aux. but he just comes across as a fuckin fussy little baby here.

Kendrick had every right to be insulted by being included in the “big 3” if fuckin Drake and *this* are the competition.

The diss track was literally the only cool thing he’s ever done and he instantly backtracks. Jfc give your balls a tug.

and it’s not even good tbh lmao.

Maybe my Kendrick bias is showing but none of this shit comes close to clearing even the worst Kendrick tracks

Soulo varies from absolutely 10/10 lyricism and swagger to super corny and explaining his bars in his songs like the listener isn’t smart enough to understand them. It’s frustrating at best but his good shit is like absolutely top tier

Hard for me to give props to Cole about apologizing to supposedly be the bigger person when he still has those whack trans lines and hasn't held back in the past, like when he beefed with noname. I don't doubt that he sees the error of the diss and this project as a whole, but....seems like such a weak thing to apologize for when he was the one who stepped to it in the first place lol
