SYSC absolutely stole the show last night. They were way better than the first time I saw them in 2022. So much fun to watch. Their setlist was perfect and all the new songs they played off of this sounded insane live.

I want to see them on their tour with Callous Daoboys but they're playing a small venue in Baltimore and I'll be coming off hip surgery and possibly on crutches. Might not be the smartest show for me to go to since Ottobar doesn't really have a safe area to stand but I know it's gonna rip so I might have to take the chance.

Okay finally spinning this. Haven’t seen the vocal harmonies mentioned much in discussion of this but some of them are very well written, and it really adds to the cleans in my opinion. Nice to see that particular aesthetic choice making a comeback — I kinda miss the overdub craze of the mid 00s
