Well the vocals are a lot more varied, theres a lot of singing.
Theres more emphasis on groove this time around.
The drummer isn't as flashy as he was on monuments
There are some really awesome riffs, but the majority of the guitar playing is subpar when compared to Monuments.
Its an evolved TOTA.

Vocals on Monuments are better? Whaaaaat? The guy sounds way better on this album, he actually changes it up here and there, he sounded the same almost the whole time on Monuments. I like his vocals quite a bit, I can see why some people really dislike them, but I find them unique, in a good way. Anyway, good review, glad someone finally did one for this album, awesome stuff.
