Great writeup!

Album's not really all that bad, but it is really really bland. Pink from last year also had that house influence, but the tracks on their own were much better than here.

This album starts off well, but it falls in sub-par jungle mode for some reason, perhaps Four Tet will improve on this.

meh i disagree Pink is perf album some of the songs on there cant be touched by any remixes ive heard

i like Four Tet best when he's either at his weirdest or at his most dense and dancey

this is the former and pink is the latter

"everything is so tastefully restrained"

I definitely think this applies to the final two tracks, which are gorgeous, but prior to that... ehh

maybe this'll be a surprise 5 a decade from now who knows

is it the one where the same three seconds is looped for the entire track, with very occasional club DJ-tier variations?
