Classic Ghost. Sucks on first listen, but perseverance pays off

Just having a quick spin of this to get me in the mood for their latest release.

Witch Image is just a perfect piece of catchy song writing.

Yeah I’ve always loved Witch Image. The chorus itself is catchy as hell but those guitars really make it great.

Gonna give IMPERA another spin later, but I'm coming to the conclusion that this might be the only Ghost album I really like.

As I understand, this isn't a popular opinion.

Witch Image is so good. It's apparently about a person who sold their father's soul to Satan.

Miasma's saxophone solo alone is better than 99% of the rest of this album.

Was relistening to this after seeing them live, and I think it might actually be their best record. Just banger after banger, not a single bad or even mediocre song on the album. So freaking consistent.

I’ve said it before but Helvetesfonster is literally just there to fill time and Pro Memoria kinda sucks imo but the rest of it is pretty solid.

Least favorite ghost record but Miasma, Witch Image, Faith, and Rats are just as good as anything else they’ve made. See the Light is very solid too

It has some of their best songs plus it flows amazingly well. I love Pro Memoria. Helvetesfonster I could live without.

Yeah for sure, the song to song transitions are pretty much perfect, and it’s a very well paced record. I just wish a few of the songs we’re better ig. Dance Macabre has gotten annoying to me lately, like I said I don’t care for Pro Memoria at all, and Life Eternal is their worst closer by a decent stretch imo.

lol wildcard we don't see each other on this one.

Dance Macabre is one of my favorite songs from them, love both videos they made for it, the instagram one and the official. The closer is cheese but it gets me a bit emo sometimes, I like it a lot.
