yeah it for sure is, once you said that I went back and listened and itโ€™s pretty obvious.

but it still sounds like extreme metal drumming which is amazing. all these dudes are masters of their instruments.

This sounds great but it's a bit samey. Not sure where I'll land on a rating yet. I def like it but after one spin there's very little distinguishing one track from the next. Haruspex was a huge breath of fresh air. The vocals towards the end of Redivivus are a bit of a tease too, wish we got more of that than the straight up guttural growls for 96% of the record. Great length for the album tho. If it went on for an hour plus it would have been too much

Liking the sound and the way it's mixed as well. Nice use of the ride by the drummer, solid work overall.

Ooh the primal sensuality ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I like how this review implies that the next album should be awesome, so I'll look forward to that.

Major thanks for bringing up Inanna! Jammed the latest and man that shit is amazing. Definitely diving into their other two immediately. Going in reverse order right now and I gotta say the bass sound on the second album and mix is some of the best I've heard in life. This year has been so stacked when it comes to quality death metal. It's insane

EDIT: I was mistaken, the one I'm jamming now with that insane bass sound is actually the debut. superb in the highest degree

Perhaps not as good as Speciation for me, but it is still incredible. One of the best bands out there right now.
