yeah the debut is more my tempo, definitely potential for a bit of a favourite there, 'Be Good' is a classic tune
bit surprised she was pure folk with near enough nothing close to a country twang to begin with

Enjoying this a lot on the first listen, pretty much continues what I liked in Saint Cloud and the MJ Lenderman guitar and vox are a plus.

It”s very good, but I know what Sowing means. It is more of a comfortable experience with some standouts rather than amazing like Saint Cloud. I guess it could be a grower.

That’s how American Weekend is for me. Many rank it their best but I would put it below Saint Cloud and Tigers Blood.

Remember seeing her in Amsterdam seven or so years ago with her sister Allison opening and playing in her backing band, and it was such a fun lil show. Amazing how consistenly great she's been over the years, always excited to hear her new stuff.

This made the leap for me. Took two weeks to fully digest.
It's still not quite on the level of Saint Cloud, but it's excellent.

This and Bright Future make such a good 1-2 punch. Hard for me to separate them, but both are excellent. Tigers Blood has a very addictive quality to it

i really want to like this and st. cloud, but damn it all sounds so complacent. one of those instances in which i really don't get the hype and much prefer what she was doing pre 2020.

I should check her older stuff, this felt a bit too breezy for me

This was okay. Never really got the acclaim behind this person

Her newer stuff takes a lot of time to grow. Saint Cloud took a while, this took even longer. I thought I was safe reviewing it after a week of having the promo but it still grew even after that.
