A refreshing listen. It is paradoxically clean-sounding yet still raw. The Wallies' Cream is a hybrid of straightforward Rock and Indie Rock. The Rock passages really carry out most of the songs as singer's voice is rather weak. To be frank, most everything about this release seems entirely prototypical in nature. However, what we have here is the sound of an emerging band. The album would be solid if it were not held back by the weak vocals and shoddy production. However, I must admit that I am excited for what they have in store for the future.
