An interesting take on this legendary game series. Johnson combines two of my most favorite things, post-rock and The legend of Zelda. It's as though I'm in a dream yet the sweet stirs of my childhood and melancholia all rush together. He reinvents different classic tracks from Ocarina of Time to where it all began. If you're a fan of the music of the series, post-rock, or music in general I implore you to give this a go.

While this massive continuum of music is by all regards a success, it unsurprisingly fails to surpass it inspiration. Without a doubt, the "variations on a theme" formula of the album holds the artist back from achieving the heights that would otherwise be achievable if some original material had been been released instead. 3.2/5
