Everything about this album absolutely exudes melancholy atmosphere. There is never a dull
moment on this near-masterpiece; the songs balance harsh black metal and melodic elements
very well. The piano segments are particularly moving, and complement the harsher elements
perfectly. The Postludium and final track (a cover of Demon's "The Spell") are the perfect
way to bring this excellent album to a close. This album should not be overlooked.
