The most underrated cello suite. This one's getting old and sick and dying, but squeezes out one last dance.

Although interesting in the sense that it may have been composed for a smaller version of the cello, called a violoncello piccolo, this is a pretty inessential Bach piece and the weakest of the cello suites by a fair margin.

Globally, compared to the rest of the cello suites catalog, this No.6 BWV1012 is, imo, the least interesting.
A strong start with the first movement & a good sarabande nonetheless.

Bach's best cello movement for nr. 1, and a great second and last. The others however fall flat in comparison.
