Most of the time, one-man metal projects fall short in terms song writing, sound production and overall effectiveness. English thrash metal oufit Morti Viventi does not file under the previous description by any stretch. The instrumental performance is impeccable (drums and vocals included), the songs are surprisingly balanced, whereas the sound rips skulls.
