3.0 good | zaruyache | August 9th 15 | Pretty much generic post-black metal that doesn't really throw any punches. If you took the basic blue-print for post-black metal and made a record out of it, you'd get this record. It's upbeat, it's shiny, there are a lot of twinkly guitar leads, it doesn't focus on black metal tempos, and there are fairly good vocals, but there's not enough variation or experimentation here to give the record its own personality. This is one of those bands that have the potential to do something really cool if they would only break from their derivative writing styles, throw caution to the wind, and be adventurous. In that sense, they're definitely a band to look for in the future, but they're only OK right now.
