4.0 excellent | SavageVoid | January 20th 16 | Daniel Ash, singer and frontman for Love And Rockets, picks up right where the band previously left off on their
Self Titled album. A stronger release than his first solo outing, Ash emphasizes what went right on the last L&R
record while also improving upon what he did on his own the first time around. The result here is an album
complete with new wave guitar, dark wave synths, and a selection of both rock and chill arrangements worthy of
Love And Rockets. That being said, the one downside may be that the rest of the band isn't with Ash here.
Conversely though, he also proves that he can go it alone and sound nearly as good with this record. An
underrated release and almost certainly a must-have for any Love And Rockets fan.
