Review Summary: During 36 minutes, you will see what the word " beautiful" are made for. This guys will make you so calmed and peaceful. Perfect band you should not miss. Strongly suggest for the fan of beautiful music.

Since this is my first time to write review and English is not my first language, please be patient for my poor expression. The band I'm gonna write review for is called New Design. According to their band camp, they are "Post/Alternative Rock band from Brampton, Ontario". They've been around for a quite a long time, but still underrated despite their amazing talent. Now, let me explain more specifically why this band's new record which is a self-titled deserve so much more attention.

Drum: Drum stand out from the beginning to the end in this record. A lots of transitions, up and down in the beat, each percussions are played in the right moment so well that it flows the whole record very smooth. 5/5

Bass: Bass creates the basic mood and atmosphere in this record. Because of their wonderful quality of the record, Bass sounds so clearly that you can see that bass is combined well with guitars. 5/5

Guitars: Talking about guitars, it is one of the most outstanding parts of this record. The entire atmospheres and rhythms created by guitars are so emotional that it sounds like as if guitars were singing as well. 5/5

Vocals: Talking about vocals, there are lots of singalong( I hope this is the right expression) moments where all members are sing in the song.
Moreover, the vocalist has such a talent in both singing and writing lyrics. His unique vocal is so beautiful and calmed that it makes you forget about the time and just draw into the song. Lycally, it is very emotional and strong. Let me introduce some of my favorite lyrics from the record.
1, " it's too late, her mind's set, I've never seen the ocean"
2, " The world moved on, while we fell asleep. It's been so long, but for you, I'll keep"
3, " A flash of memory takes me to the start, These shoes fit my soles but not my heart". 5/5

To conclude, this record will make you captivated and realize that this is what we call " beautiful".

This review is just brief overall impression I got from the record, but I hope you enjoy reading this. Thank you very much.

It would be a good idea to do some homework before submitting a review. For one thing, you got the title of the album wrong (you listed it under self-titled with a 2016 release date, this is the only thing these guys have put out this year and a quick search of their bandcamp yielded no results to any self-titled album). You neglected to include a tracklist or artwork. It wouldn't be far-fetched to say I put as much time into making this review as you did.

With that said, I understand this is your first review and that English is not your first language. While sympathetic to that, I'd still recommend that you rethink the way you review an album. This is more a review of the band than it is a review of the album, and offers very little insight.

Read some of the staff/contributor reviews here (or on any site besides Rolling Stone) to get a better idea of what you can do to strengthen your writing.

Other than that, you can ask some other users to read your review before submitting it. Then you can rewrite parts that sound or indeed are wrong.

Their cover art has definitely drawn inspiration from Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Sadly, just like everyone else, I am forced to agree. There isn't much depth or substance put into this review, but for a first one, and the fact english isn't your 1st language (neither is mine), it's alright.
